Are you REGISTERED to vote? Are you SURE?

Your name must be listed on the Osage Voter Registry to be eligible to vote in the June 2010 Elections.

**********Voter Registration is a 2 step process**********

Osage Voter Registry = CDIB card + MEMBERSHIP card.

To register to vote you must first obtain an Osage Nation Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) card.  To establish eligibility for a CDIB card, a person must establish, through required documentation, that they are a lineal descendent of a person on the 1906 Osage Allotment Roll.

Having a CDIB card does NOT mean that you are registered to vote, you must additionally  have a MEMBERSHIP CARD.  Eligible voters must obtain a Membership Card from the Membership Office.  Upon receipt of your Membership card your name will be placed on the Osage Voter Registry and only then you will be registered to vote.  For more information, please call the Membership office at 918-287-5389.

PLEASE ensure you name is on the Osage Voter Registry as discussed above, then mail or fax in your completed Application for Absentee Ballot along with a LEGIBLE PHOTOCOPY OF A GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO ID.
