Today’s debate that was scheduled for the Wakon Iron has been moved to the Pawhuska Catholic Church at 7pm.

People that attend will write questions down on note cards that the moderator will ask of the candidates.

If any of you out there who will not be able to attend wish to post a question please do and I will take it there and make sure that it get’s put on a notecard.

Re: economic development … for Asst Chief, in Oct. 2008 you voted to eliminate tourism, a billion dollar industry for the state of Oklahoma, from the Osage Nation, making already vulnerable Osage owned businesses susceptible to bankruptcy, what is your stance on Tourism today? I would also like to know Mr. Tall Chief’s view on tourism? Since 2009 the Chickasaw’s, Cherokee’s, to name a few tribes, have and are building a huge tourism industry with casino / hotels, conference centers, group travel, foreign & domestic travelers etc… seeing what they have been able to accomplish in the same amount of time, what do you have to say to the Osage Owned business owners (retailers, golf courses, restaurants, museums, private industry; businesses who rely on tourists), who might be struggling financially today or perhaps lost their business and how do you plan on bringing economic development to the Nation.
