anyone know any of the reasons behind this? I have not heard anything. On the surface it looks troubling.

Osage attorney Terry Mason Moore signed on as general counsel for Chief John Red Eagle Sept. 22.

Moore was previously serving as the Nation’s Gaming Commissioner.

“At this time I am interviewing qualified Osage candidates for Gaming Commissioner,” Red Eagle wrote in an Executive Branch memorandum dated Sept. 27. “I will be making an appointment as soon as the process is completed.”

The memorandum states that full signature authority in the Nation’s gaming commission will be left to Osage employees Lacie Wynn or Jennifer Brumley if Wynn is absent.

Moore, who was on the 31st Osage Tribal Council, has served as legal counsel for the Osage Gaming Enterprise Board in the past and succeeded Richard Chissoe as the Nation’s Gaming Commissioner.
